Long before W Road Collection opened, I tagged along with my designer sister, Barbara Dalton, to ADAC, High Point Market and AmericasMart Atlanta. This year was even more exciting as I found inspiration at every turn. The beautiful showrooms blended different styles, creating new inspiring designs. Here are some of my favorites.
Montes Doggett- We discovered this beautiful white handmade pottery last year in the High Design Temporaries and found them again this year in their own showroom.
Bliss Studio- I am always drawn to quality Gustavian and French pieces and Bliss Studio is a new favorite.
The High Design Temporaries are an absolute must for unique and creative pieces and once again we saw Pendulux and their funky industrial clocks and lighting. Et al designs' booth caught our eye with exquisite taper and pillar candles we can't wait to add to our Collection.
Always searching for something a bit different, I fell in love with Light and Living's leaf sculptures and the clean chrome lamps with natural linen shades.
This wall display of Square Feathers pillows was a show stopper not only for the linen and velvet pillows, but for the display itself.
For me, no trip is complete without a serious look at porcelains that work so well with our antique pieces. but also give that curated look to any decor. Avala had some wonderful aged pieces that caught our eye.
We found beautiful Belgian and French table linens in Kiss That Frog that we couldn’t pass up and French Market Collection and Sferra are always favorites.
I can’t wait for the arrival of our rugs , French mirrors, Belgian table linens, white pottery, candles and Greek Key crystal. Combining these "new" accessories with our "old" antiques will be fun.
Now to make our move to Southside Antiques by February 1st!
